Halo is smart, quick to learn, and happy to please. Her demeanor makes her a joy to work with.

By 6 months Halo was already treeing game. By 9 months she was running off coyotes that came into the yard. At 10 months she started her conformation career with a bang with three Best of Breed wins and two Herding Group placements. I’m excited to see where she goes from here.

Halo started competing in treeing and b-bay in the spring of 2014. She has great instinct for hogs and I expect big things from her.

Halo is a medium range dog and will open on track.

Halo wearing an orange WolfPacks Banzai dog backpack.
This is Halo’s first time in a backpack at six months old–it was stuffed with paper so it wouldn’t stress her growing body. NEVER put a loaded pack on a puppy, but I couldn’t resist letting her try on Ranger’s pack for a picture.

Our Arkansas backpacking trip in September 2014 got cut short when my dogs protected me from a Copperhead snake. Halo took a hit on her muzzle and, after giving me a scare with a few days of swelling, made a full recovery.
