Strider is one of the keeper pups from the 2024 Oslo x Drama litter. He is a soft tempered dog, like his granddam Halo and great-grandsire Twister. He’s currently a lanky teenager that will mature into a very nice dog.
Strider was named by my dad to fit with the theme of uncle Trekker, grandsire Ranger, and great–great-great-grandsire Rambler. One of the books and movie series my parents loved was Lord of the Rings. In those the character Strider was a Ranger of the North. Considering we live in Michigan, which is decidedly not the South, and he greatly resembles Ranger in the face that’s a fitting name.
